A coffee lounge is proving popular with residents in a Dearne village.
Up to 40 residents pack into the Ivanhoe Centre in Gardens Lane each weekday for the coffee sessions.
The lounge is held every Monday to Friday, from 9am to 4pm.
In addition, cakes, tea and soft drinks are also served.
Sheila Treen, admin assistant at the centre, said: “The sessions have grown in popularity in the last 12 months or so.
“It is a great way to make new friends and to just get out of the house.
“We get a lot of retired couples coming in for a cuppa but it is open for anyone and everyone to attend.
“There is always plenty going on at the centre so why not drop in for a drink.”
