Worshippers are celebrating the Grade-II listed Holy Trinity Church in Elsecar being restored to its former glory.

A campaign to refurbish the roof at a cost of £230,000 was launched and funds were boosted by the Heritage English Lottery Fund.

Rev Alison Lamb said: “It’s a huge thanks to the community.”
