SAINSBURY’s supermarket is urging customers to vote for a charity they want to see benefit from their fundraising efforts.
As part of the company’s ‘Local Charity’ scheme, now in its third year, Sainsbury’s Thorne wants customers and colleagues to put forward the names of charities based in South Yorkshire that are important to them.
Customers have until May 25 to nominate the charity which will receive 12 months support from the fundraising efforts.
To vote, customers simply fill out a form and pop it into the store’s Local Charity Partner voting box, situated at the front of the store.
A shortlist of nominations will then be drawn up, with the top three charities invited into store to talk about how Sainsbury’s can support them.
