A CHOIR of 180 treated staff, family and friends to a musical Christmas treat as students celebrated another successful year with a carol service for the festive season.

Thorne Trinity Academy echoed to music, song, and Yuletide readings at its eighth annual carol service.

Principal Ian Brew welcomed guests before Trinity Singers opened the service with a rendition of Adiemus.

Congregational carols were followed by more readings before the wind band played a Christmas medley.

Students and staff performed a nativity drama before the year seven choir sang Mary’s Boy Child and the Circle of Life.

The Boys’ Singing Group also performed Sweet Child of Mine during the service.
