Wintry weather causes traffic problems

DRIVERS are being advised to take extra care this morning with wintry weather affecting Doncaster.

Sleet and strong winds are forecast to continue until this afternoon.

Although there has been no major problems reported on Doncaster’s roads there are problems in the county.

Drivers from the borough travelling to Greater Manchester should not use either the Snake Pass or Woodhead Pass as both are closed.

There are long delays on the westbound carriageway of the M62 in West Yorkshire because of snow.
