From footwear to festive treats – a range of new retail outlets have opened their doors at a South Yorkshire shopping centre.

International footwear and accessories brand Timberland has opened on the first floor of Frenchgate Shopping Centre, while high quality, contemporary jewellery specialists Pandora and Argento are adding sparkle to the Upper South Mall.

Across at the Upper North Mall, Red 5 has also opened its doors to offer shoppers a variety of cool and quirky gadgets.

In the run-up to the festive season, The Christmas Shop and a Formula 1 store have opened on West Mall with both of them full of ideas for Christmas, while in the West Mall Gallery the newly opened Lovely Little Gift Shop specialises in handmade presents for all occasions.

Laurie Barton Wright, centre manager at Frenchgate Shopping Centre, said: “Timberland is a great, iconic brand so we’re really excited they’re joining us and enhancing our big-name offering at Frenchgate.

“Work on the food mall has begun in preparation for the Hungry Horse pub The Mallard which we’re expecting to open in December.

“Meanwhile, New Look, one of the most well-known fashion brands in the UK, has also lived up to its name at Frenchgate with a ‘new look’ of its own when it moves to a more modern unit on the Fashion Mall from 14 November.

“From high profile names to unusual and eye-catching gifts, we’re confident these new, and newly re-opened, stores will have South Yorkshire customers quickly crossing items off their Christmas shopping lists!”
