Shoppers at Lakeside Village in Doncaster are set to benefit from a new customer service initiative, which promises to give every person visiting the site a ‘welcoming and friendly experience’.

The Customer Service Charter has been introduced at the retail outlet park to define Lakeside’s customer service standards and provide staff from all 42 stores, as well as the cleaning and security teams, with training to build on their communication and customer service skills.

Cheryl Sadler, centre manager at Lakeside Village, said: “We’ve always prided ourselves on our high levels of customer service, but we wanted to take it one step further and introduce a charter which gives all of our staff a clear guide of what’s expected of them and the exceptional service we should be providing our shoppers with at all times.

“Staff at the centre from across all stores have been undertaking additional customer service training to ensure we are meeting the standards set out in our charter.”
