The Doncaster Knights have officially announced their main sponsor for the upcoming 2014/2015 season.

Wirquin Ltd is a leading sanitary ware and toilet, bathroom and kitchen accessories manufacturer, based in Warmsworth.

The company, which has factories around the world, will be the front of t-shirt sponsor.

As part of the new sponsorship deal, the Knights will give Wirquin two free tickets each month and Wirquin will provide co-branded toilet seats for the teams stadium at Castle Park.

Wirquin works around six main values; team spirit, pride, sharing, respect, willingness and performance.

Richard List said: “We have very similar values to Wirquin, and it will be good to work with them. It will work for both sides. If we give them some tickets, it will push them to do more work, and for us it’s a few more people to cheer us on.”

As part of Wirquin’s five year target, Project 2015, which was introduced in 2010, these values were introduced with rugby themed photos.

Now, four years on, Wirquin’s managing director, french-born Gwenhael Coent, is delighted to be working with the Knights.

He said: “We are both families. We are both teams which support each other achieve one goal.”
