Delays expected as A1(M) roadworks get underway

REPAIR works starting today are being carried out on the A1(M) in Doncaster leading to disruption for motorists.

The Highways Agency has revealed that night-time closures will be in force for four days next week while resurfacing work is completed. The northbound carriageway of the A1 between junction 37, Marr, and 38, Redhouse, will be closed from Monday and Friday, May 4, between 8pm and 6am.

A diversion will also be in place taking traffic along the A635 Barnsley Road and the A638 Great North Wood to Redhouse.
