Young jobseekers are invited to learn more about employment opportunities at two free events.
Both events will be hosted at the Trades Club in the Frenchgate Centre and will include a range of information stalls all aimed at helping young people find out more about vacancies, apprenticeships and traineeships.
They will be held on Friday, August 15, and Friday, August 22, between 11am and 3pm and follows a similar event held in March as part of National Apprenticeship Week which proved successful.
Doncaster mayor Ros Jones said: “Boosting the economy and jobs is one of the council’s top priorities. Well over 200 people attended the last apprenticeship fair with many going on to secure work or begin training. These events play a big part in helping people choose the right career path and find new opportunities.
They have been organised by Business Doncaster and the Doncaster Association of Training Managers (DATM). Since April last year, the Business Doncaster team has secured more than 400 apprenticeships.
