Spain, Greece Turkey and Poland are amongst the more popular European destinations from the Finningley-based airport this weekend.
Robin Tudor, head of PR for Peel Airports, said: “Whilst the recession and the poor weather are doing their best to dampen spirits, it appears that the chance to jet off somewhere warm or get away for an exciting city break is still important to the region’s passengers.
“The great range of destinations on offer from here for passengers in South Yorkshire and beyond, look like proving irresistible for many.”
