DONCASTER Rovers’ mascot who was sacked following a raunchy photo shoot has got her job back as Donny The Dog.

Tracy Chandler was kicked into touch after pictures of her posing in her underwear were featured in a Sunday newspaper.

The 40-year-old mother-of-three did the shoot to raise money for the club’s chosen charity NSPCC. She accused the club of hypocrisy after Rovers players posed for a nude calendar in aid of the NSPCC.

John Ryan, the Rovers chairman, this afternoon told the Free Press that Tracy, of Walstow Crescent, Armthorpe, would be donning the dog costume again next season if she wanted too.

He said: “There are two sides to every story and she should have told us first.

“Sacking her was a bit hasty. She is a good girl and I think everyone deserves a second chance.”
