Blaze near railway station causing delays for South Yorkshire commuters

A fire at an industrial premises near Doncaster Railway Station is causing delays for train commuters this morning.

A spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said three fire crews were called out to a blaze at an industrial site close to the railway line in Albion Terrace, Hexthorpe, at 8.10am this morning.

She added: “Because it is close to the rail line we have informed the railway authorities and understand this may cause some delays.”

Fire crews are still at the scene.
