As the final touches to the first phase of repair work at All Saints Church Hall in Belton are being carried out, two events have been organised with all proceeds going to hall funds.

The monthly coffee morning will take place at the church this weekend.

The event will be held on Saturday between 10am and noon.

Spokesman Susan Hill said: “This is a very popular event. Why not come along and enjoy a coffee and cake, there will also be a raffle, cakes stall, tombola etc.”

The following weekend, on Saturday, June 13 between 2-4.30pm a summer fun day will be held at All Saints CE Primary School.

Susan added: “Everyone is invited to come and help us have a great time and swell the funds.”

The event will include the usual stalls selling items including cakes, second hand books, plants, bric a brac and produce. There will also be a raffle. Other attractions are a children’s and adults’ tombola, cream teas, Maypole dancing, mini Olympics and a helium balloon race.
