Arsonists spark two fires in South Yorkshire

Arsonists sparked two fires in the area last night.

The first was at Shackleton Road, Edenthorpe in Doncaster, when yobs set fire to a pile of litter at 7.30pm.

Two crews from Doncaster Central Station attended and spent 15 minutes tackling the blaze.

Arsonists struck again at 9.30pm in Darnall Road, Darnall in Sheffield, when they set fire to an old settee.

Firefighters from Darnall Fire Station used a single hose reel water jet to extinguish the blaze.
