POLICE were all aboard a crime crackdown when they donned plain clothes and got on a bus to catch criminals.
Special sergeants and constables as well as PCSOs boarded a bus for about five hours touring Thorne, Moorends and Stainforth.
They cautioned nine teenagers who tried to press the emergency stop button in Market Place, Thorne.
A man was also arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol after he hit a parked car.
Deputy district officer Adrian Fuller said he felt the operation had given out a “positive message”.
