STUDENTS are set to amaze audiences with their own dramatic version of one of the greatest West End productions of all time.
The youngsters from Trinity Academy, in Thorne, are taking to the stage to perform the classic show Blood Brothers.

The production will be performed in the main hall from Tuesday July 1 until Thursday July 3, with doors opening at 6.30pm for a 7pm start, as
part of the Academy's arts week which begins on June 30.

It tells Willy Russell's acclaimed story of twins Mickey and Eddie, who are separated at birth and go on to lead dramatically different lives before coming together for a tragic conclusion.

The musical version of the famous story has been running in London's West End for 20 years.

Arts week opens with an art exhibition at the Academy, 6-8pm on June 30, when family and friends are invited to come along and view students' work, as well as see a dance show.

Tickets for Blood Brothers are £5, £3 concessions, phone 01405 813000.
