CHILDREN in Hatfield helped raise money for Haiti with an activity day.
Hatfield Manor Junior School on Cuckoo Lane, raised over £575 for the Haiti appeal following the earthquake in January.

The school played pin the tail on the donkey and school councillors took part in a sponsored run across the school field during the day on Monday.

Rovers In The Community also went along to give the children a chance at scoring during a penalty shoot out, while some pupils were hit with a wet sponge for charity.

Andrea Harkin, school business manager, said: "It was fantastic. The parents were supportive and the children really enjoyed doing it."
