FANCY a night of pure fright?

If you are seeking scary stuff for the most haunted night of the year - at Halloween - then this is sure to be of interest.

The fifteenth Epworth Ghost Walk Halloween Special screams back in to town this month.

For one night only on October 31 you can join a band of intrepid thrillseekers to explore the horrible (but true) history of the legendary Isle of Axholme.

The truly gruesome experience is popular with the brave-hearted, so early booking is essential for the adult walk, which is always over-subscribed.

If you love to be scared silly, call the terror-phone line on 01427 873947 to book your place. Priced at £5, the walk starts at 7.50pm and lasts for about 90 minutes.

Young fright fans can also join in on this special night, on their own Junior Ghost Walk.

Featuring stories too scary for the grown-ups, this walk stays off the roads and doesn’t venture outside the graveyard.

Dressing up is recommended, and the most horrible witches, vampires, monsters, zombies and skeletons could win themselves a prize.

Maybe it’s time to start practising a chilling, cackling or sinister laugh

The experience costs £4 and is at 5.50pm in St Andrews car park.
