Roll up, roll up for a ringside seat at Doncaster’s newest boozer.

Circus in Silver Street, formerley The Garage, has opened its doors to bring the latest offering in entertainment to town.

You’ll not find any trapeze acts or dancing horses - but ringmaster Dean Dallison and his team promise one of the best nights out.

“We’re going to have music nightly and cater for all ages,” Dean said. “We just want to get a party atmosphere going and suit the evening to the personalities of the people in the pub – you’ve got to try to be versatile like that.

“We also want to get some bands in and hopefully Doncaster’s music fans and students will be into that.”

Dean has spent his entire career in the pub trade, having run bars in Sheffield, Selby and Longworth as well as working at The Acorn in Armthorpe.

“I love the business,” he said. “It’s about making people happy and that’s great fun.”
