DONCASTER Rovers stars Iain Hume and David Cotterill helped celebrate the launch of the latest restaurant to open in Bawtry.

They joined John Coleman and Sarah Rimmington as they opened the venue, Thyme, in Swan Street.

John, who is also head chef, was delighted with the opening event.

He said: “We had a great opening night and it was really nice that David and Iain managed to come down and support us.”

The new-look restaurant has a lunch and dinner menu, and also serves Sunday lunches.
