A one-stop wedding fair turned out to be a roaring success in Stainforth taking the stress out of the big day for blushing brides to be.

The event at St Mary’s Church and Community Centre offered everything couples needed to plan their perfect big day all under one roof.

Visitors were treated to a complimentary glass of champagne and more than 20 professional exhibitors covering all aspects of a wedding from florists and photographers to dress designers and wedding make-up.

The Reverend Eleanor Simpson, Assistant Curate at St Mary’s Stainforth said: “We were keen to tell people about having a one stop wedding at the church and reception at the newly refurbished community centre as well as provide everything at the fair to help take the stress out of it.”

If you have any questions or would like to chat about having a wedding at the church, you can see Vicar Andrew Allington during his open enquiry hour Friday evenings at St Mary’s Community Centre, Field Road, Stainforth between 6pm-7pm or attend Sunday Communion service between 10.30am and 11.30am.
