After moving into our new offices in Printing Office Street it was essential we scouted out some new dinner time hotspots.

After moving into our new offices in Printing Office Street it was essential we scouted out some new dinner time hotspots.

Just a stones throw away from the office (next door to be exact) is the old Angel Pub.

The venue, part of the Wetherspoons chain, serves up tasty food at bargain prices and is perfect for grabbing a bite to eat at dinner time.

We couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome by our new neighbours who presented us with 20 per cent off cards on arrival.

And I was instantly impressed with the wide selection of dishes on offer.

But it was the eggs benedict that caught my eye and it did not disappoint.

Two perfectly poached eggs arrived with a generous helping of ham and lashings of creamy hollondaise sauce - all served on a toasted English muffing.

The dish hit the spot and all for under a fiver.

And I washed it down with several cups of refillable filter coffee - the perfect caffeine fix.
