WITH a brand new blue carpet to sit on, and big windows to gaze out of, the setting couldn’t be better....

Mums, carers and lots of tots met on Friday within the first group to enjoy facilities at the brand new Rawmarsh Library.

The established Rhyme Time group attracted new young members, after library staff passed out leaflets to visitors in their opening week.

As part of the new customer service centre on Barbers Avenue, the library that moved from its Carnegie building on Rawmarsh Hill is welcoming back its old users too.

Staff were on hand to welcome children aged under five to the weekly Rhyme Time.

Library spokeswoman Rita Leary said: “It’s lovely to have a library in a brand new building.”
