Local firms display at Doncaster wedding show

more than 130 local suppliers are planning to attend the IDO Wedding Show which will take place at Doncaster Racecourse on Sunday, March 17.

Organiser Richard Wilson, from IDO magazine, said: “The IDO wedding show is now in its fourth year and we have a record number of exhibitors already signed up.

“We are offering a free ticket for every bride and the region’s best wedding suppliers will be on hand to help organise their special day. There will also be some fantastic freebies and competitions on offer as well as entertainment, so it’s certain to be a great day out.”

Experts forecast that brides will this year spend £150m on the dress of their dreams and the show is designed to give brides-to-be all the help they need to plan their wedding – under one roof.

Visitors will be able to speak to local contacts for marquee hire, bridal wear and beauty, photography, entertainment, wedding cakes and catering, plus lots more.

The UK’s wedding industry is now estimated to be worth a staggering £5.5bn per year and wedding exhibitions provide local suppliers with a major opportunity to tap into this market.

Tickets can be bought online for £5 and a special money-saving ticket is available for groups of six.
