Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, is pleased to announce two major partnerships with PayPal and Booking.com.

Customers booking flights online at www.flybe.com now have the added benefit of paying with PayPal whether they are paying in British Pounds; Euros or US Dollars, as well as now having seamless access to Booking.com’s extensive worldwide accommodation database.

Those wishing to make bookings will not need to enter their credit card details when buying Flybe flights online with PayPal, making it a fast and convenient way to pay. This is an added bonus for the many hundreds of thousands of Flybe passengers who either do not have, or dislike using, credit or debit cards. It also streamlines the booking process by reducing the amount of ‘clicks’ needed to move through the Flybe booking process.

Whilst a direct link to Booking.com can be accessed via the airline’s website www.flybe.com, which will provide a ‘one clickbooking’ gateway to over 500,000 hotels, apartments, B&B’s, villas, hostels, resorts and more in 201 countries. It gives users the option to select such preferences as star-ratings and accommodation facilities, and the tool includes a Best Price Guarantee as well as a ‘Pay only when you stay’ feature.

Commenting on the addition of Flybe’s new PayPal multi-currency payment options, Paul Simmons, Flybe’s Chief Commercial Officer, said: “We want to make booking as quick and easy as possible for all our customers no matter in what currency they are paying, and PayPal does just that by giving them the ability to pay the way they want to pay. We understand that millions of people these days have PayPal accounts and that they often prefer using this payment method when paying and we sincerely hope that this will prove of great benefit to them. Part of being the ‘Fastest Way from A to Flybe’ is also the ability to spend as little time as possible when making an original booking!”

Cameron McLean, PayPal UK’s managing director, commented: “We’re delighted that Flybe now takes PayPal. Our customers love travelling and we’re sure they’ll be quick to take advantage of the fact it’s now even faster to pay for a flight with Europe’s biggest regional airline. We’ve been very impressed at how quickly Flybe moved to add PayPal to its website – one of the fastest arrivals we’ve seen.”

Commenting on the new Booking.com partnership, Martin Smith, Flybe’s Director of Marketing, said: “We are extremely pleased to have secured this partnership with Booking.com, an easy-to-use resource that has rightly gained global recognition for the value and quality service it offers its users.
