Don’t miss dance troupe’s (In)visible dance finale - Video

Waiting for Video...

DANCERS from a flashmob-style troupe have been strutting their stuff in disguise in Doncaster this week.

In a performance which the Free Press captured on video, shoppers were treated to a Full-Monty-style queue for a cash machine.

It all began with a lone trombonist and dancers appeared as if from nowhere to put on a seemingly spontaneous performance.

London-based dance company Protein have spent the past week performing at the Frenchgate Centre - and they’re putting on their grand finale at 3pm on Saturday.

Directed by Protein’s artistic director, Luca Silvestrini said: “I love working on this gratifying example of street theatre, where people of all ages and walks of life can discover, meet and experience dance in the heart of their city centre.

“(In)visible Dancing develops my on-going interest in finding new ways of engaging and connecting with audiences, especially those who are less exposed or familiar to dance.

“They can even take part in our Finale by learning an ending, celebratory routine.”
