MUSIC legend Gerry Marsden has been forced to postpone a show at Doncaster’s Civic Theatre tonight after being diagnosed with a throat infection.

The Liverpudlian star, best known for hits such as You’ll Never Walk Alone and Ferry Cross The Mersey with Gerry and The Pacemakers, was set to bring his Gerry Cross The Mersey show to the venue this evening but called off the concert after falling ill.

The show has now been rescheduled for Tuesday, 26 June. All tickets for tonight’s show will be valid for the re-arranged date.
