* Methodist Church: The coffee morning last Saturday August 1 raised £40.65. This was for Project 2000. On Saturday August 8 the coffee morning proceeds will be for the Fellowship of the Services.
* Church Services: On Sunday August 9 the preacher at the 6pm service will be Mr Peter Gilliland from Thorne.

* A car boot sale at Cherry Tree Farm raised £205.50 for Action for Children. Thanks to Mr and Mrs J Brown for the use of the site and to Julie and her team for their untiring efforts in making it all happen.
