IT WAS like television’s Question Time six times over when MP Caroline Flint answered questions from half a dozen classes at St Alban’s RC Primary School in Denaby Main.

The Don Valley MP said: “St Alban’s pupils were great. As I entered classrooms, the Question Time theme tune would play and my audience would be ready with questions in hand.

“In one class questions ranged from, ‘Do you have any pets?’ to ‘Do you support HS2 and what will it do for the northern economy?’ which is pretty advanced for an eight-year-old.

“It was a pleasure to spend a morning in the school and Jo Ayres and her staff have created a very friendly school.”
