TRIPLE Round Rotherham runner Ray Matthews has funded a special trike for schoolchildren.

Parkgate runner Ray, 71, ran 150 miles instead of 50 at last year’s Round Rotherham Race, that follows a circular route from Dearne Valley College.

Proceeds have gone towards a specially adapted trike for the Newman School, Rotherham, to be presented next month.
