HAXEY WI enjoyed the festive season with an Isle group carol service at Epworth’s Wesley Memorial Methodist Church.
Members delivered Christmas readings as well as singing carols and the South Axholme School band entertained with Christmas medleys. A festive lunch was also taken at Hirst Priory Golf Club.
This month saw members welcomed by the president to start the new year and a games night was also held.
A talk entitled ‘An unexpected family history’ will be given by Sylvia Atkinson on Wednesday, February 1, in Haxey Memorial Hall at 7.30pm.
An Isle group quiz will also take place on Tuesday, February 21, in the Stephen Jones Community Hall, Haxey, at 7.30pm.
