TWO midwives from Doncaster have been shortlisted for an award for their innovative work helping pregnant women who struggle with their weight.

Specialist healthy lifestyle Midwives Carolyn Garland and Alison Williams of Doncaster and Bassetlaw NHS Foundation Trust help pregnant women improve their eating habits and begin exercise.

The service launched three years ago in Doncaster but proved so successful it has now been rolled out across Bassetlaw.
