THE history of music halls enthralled members of Haxey and Westwoodside Heritage Society at their first meeting of the year.

Speaker Sue Dolby was introduced by chairman Jackie Starr, and delivered an interesting and informative talk on music halls.

Due to recent bad weather, society meetings until March are to be held in the afternoon. At the February 14 meeting, Meryl White will present ‘Grandma Abson - Traditional Baking.”
