Library service joins social network sites

BARNSLEY Library Service has launched its own Facebook and Twitter accounts to make it easier to communicate with customers online.

You can find out whats on at the libraries by liking their facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/BarnsleyLibraries

Twitter users can also keep up to date by following @BarnsleyLibs

Councillor Jenny Platts, Cabinet Member for Adults and Communities, said: “Barnsley Libraries are delighted to provide this new communication opportunity which we hope will enhance our service and bring library news and information to our customers in a faster way.”
