residents can take a trip down Memory Lane and find out what Thorne used to be like with a special history society event.

The Thorne and Moorends history society will present the Thorne Unlocked event looking at memorabilia and what the popular history society has been doing over the years on July 10.

The event takes place at Thorne Old People’s Centre, Church Street at 7.30pm.

Members can come along for £1.50, non members £2.50, refreshments are included. The group meets on the second Tuesday of every month.
