Methodist Church: Last Saturday's coffee morning raised £207 for Thorne Rural Lions. On Saturday 24th the coffee morning will be for Project 2000. The preacher for Sunday's Church service at 6pm will be Mr Henry Curtis from Bessacarr.
Robert Forster Charity: The annual outing has been arranged for Thursday, October 29, for a visit to York and may also include a visit to a garden centre. The coach will depart from Hatfield Woodhouse Working Men's Club at 9.30am prompt. Further details on 01302 350263.
