HATFIELD Methodist Church coffee morning last Saturday raised £59.25 for Project 2000.
The tombola, held to raise money for the new coffee machine, raised 55.
With a generous donation of 60 the organisers have almost reached their target.
A raffle will be held on Saturday, September 5 and hopefully then they will be able to buy the machine.
The coffee morning on Saturday will be in aid of Hatfield Band.
* The preacher on Sunday, at 6pm, will be Mr Robin Hawke from Doncaster.
* The harvest weekend will take place on Saturday September 19 and a Harvest Supper with entertainment by Mr Brian Harrison and friends will take place at 6.45pm for 7pm.
Tickets will be available from Saturday from the coffee morning or any Chapel member, price 5.
Sunday, September 20 will be the Harvest Service and on Monday September 21 the sale of produce.
