Hatfield Woodhouse - August 13, 2009

HATFIELD Woodhouse Methodist Church coffee morning last Saturday should have been for the Fellowship of the Services but this had to be cancelled.

Organisers will try to arrange a date for later in the year.

The 62.20 that was raised will go towards Project 2000.

Next week will also be for Project 2000 but organisers are raising money to enable them to buy a coffee machine so that filter coffee can be provided as an alternative.

This week Mrs Miers will be running the tombola stall to start the fund off.

The preacher next Sunday will be Mr Peter Douglas from Bessacarr.

Mr Gregory, a long-standing member of the chapel (he was the Sunday School Superintendent) has died well into his 90s.

His funeral will be held in the chapel today at 11.15am and later at the crematorium.
