Get stuck in at playing fields

ISLE residents are being invited to get active and take part in a number of events organised by the Crowle and Ealand Playing Field Association.

A race night has been arranged to take place at The Football Pavilion in Godnow Road, Crowle, on Saturday, October 20, from 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £5 each, which includes a pie and pea supper, available by ringing 07873 558 060.

The venue will also play host to the association’s annual general meeting on Tuesday, October 23, from 7.30pm.

Help is needed to run the pavilion and new committee members are also required so everyone is welcome to attend.

A day has been arranged to plant 450 hedgerow plants around the playing fields which were donated by Crowle Gardening Club.

Volunteers are asked to bring their own gardening gear if they want to help out on Saturday, November 17, from 9am onwards.
