IT’S all rock’n’roll on Fridays at Swinton Library, with a special rhythmic session for youngsters.

For half an hour, from 2.15pm to 2.45pm, tiny attendees can enjoy a bit of rhythm without the blues, at the library’s Rhyme Time.

Potential new users are invited to try sessions now especially, as numbers tend to dip slightly in the first few months of the year.

The sessions are lively and fun, and may involve rattling the odd tambourine, tapping a triangle or even bashing a big drum.

Principal library assistant Rita Leary is keen to recruit new faces, and invites mums, dads, carers and youngsters to see for themselves what the excitement is about.

If anyone would like more information, Rita is happy to have a chat. Contact her by telephone on 01709 583116.
