Free purse bells for pensioners

BOLTON residents are invited to a meeting, to receive free help with crime prevention.

The crime and safety meeting will include the free distribution of purse bells - a new crime deterrent - to local elderly people.

It will take place at Willowcraft Flats, on the corner of Dearne Road and South Drive, at 6pm on February 5. Tea and coffee will be served, and there will be a raffle.
