Family history courses

Family history enthusiasts can take part in two 10-week courses to be held at Goldthorpe and Birdwell in the New Year. The courses start at Goldthorpe library from Monday January 14, 9.30-11.30 am; and Birdwell Methodist Church on Mondays for ten weeks from 14 January, 1-3pm.

Each course runs for two hours and will use the Internet to search for records and stories and enable students to begin to construct a family tree of their own. Contact Kevin on 01226 203929 for details.
