THE trust which runs Montagu Hospital has recruited Dr Ann Harris as its latest consultant.

Dr Harris has a special interest in respiratory medicine and joined the Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust from the Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust, where she was a specialist registrar in respiratory and general internal medicine.

Her previous employers include the University Hospital of South Manchester NHS Foundation Trust, Blackpool Victoria Hospital and the Salford Royal Hospital.

She become a Member of the Royal College of Physicians in 2003 and is also a member of the British Thoracic Society and the Society of Acute Medicine.

Outside of work, Dr Harris enjoys cycling, running and looking after her three children.
