MISTERTON Ladies’ Group was entertained this month by a colourful and loquacious new speaker – DoDo Dee – talking about “Scintillating Leaves on her Tree of Life.”

The women were in control as they chose a sparkling leaf and DoDo Dee aka Gainsbrough teacher Veronica Eden, retold amusing anecdotes of the experiences that went with it – topics ranging from dancing disasters in the Middle East through to Motorbikes and on to Buckingham Palace. There was full audience participation and organisers said a good time was had by all who attended despite the atrocious weather. DoDo Dee has already spoken locally to Gainsborough U3A, the Friends of Gainsborough Old Hall. Contact Veronica Eden on 01427 616637
