A FUN walk around Manvers Lake and up on to Bolton Ings will take place later today.

The ‘hidden gems of the Dearne Valley’ walk is being hosted by Groundwork Dearne Valley who promise a whole new world oF hidden delights as the walk takes in wildlife across the area that was once a colliery. Anyone interested should meet outside Wath Library at 4pm.

Suitable footwear is recommended as there is a steep ditch to cross on the trail.
