Diamond party plan for Adwick

A RIGHT royal knees up is planned to mark the diamond jubilee in Adwick later this month.

Adwick Methodist Church is putting on a Royal Diamond and Tiara Evening to celebrate the Queen’s milestone year.

Tickets priced £4 are now on sale for the event, which includes a buffet supper. All proceeds will go to charity, Guide Dogs for the Blind.

Activities planned for April 21 include a Royal quiz and a parade of dazzling jewellery - with organisers encouraging those going to put on their “finest bling”, including tiaras for those wanna-be princesses.

Adwick’s Prince Charmings and Prince William look-a-likes will also be in with the chance of a prize - with a special competition for the Best Imitation of a Prince.

The party starts at 6.30pm.
