HOWZAT for a charitable donation.

For Bentley Colliery Cricket Club was celebrating as it proved to be a cut above the rest thanks to donations from charitable groups which has enable it to receive a new lawnmower.

The club was stumped when it came to raising enough money to help maintain its grounds in the village’s Arthur Avenue.

However, members of the community club were bowled over when charity group Doncaster Lions, made up of members who give something back to their own communities, came to their rescue.
