A DONCASTER College student has proved she’s a cut above the rest by shearing off her locks for a cancer charity.

Suzanne Howden, 17, from Wheatley, was inspired to raise money for the Macmillan Cancer Support after a friend was diagnosed with cancer.

Friend Ellie Huby, 17, helped shave her head at the fundraiser inside the Cumberland Hotel in Thorne Road. Suzanne would love to hear from anybody willing to support her.
