Big boost for hospice

A SUM of £1,334 has been raised by staff and pupils at Park Street Primary School, Wombwell, for Barnsley Hospice.

A market fair event was held before Christmas, to raise cash in memory of school business manager Karen Arrowsmith, who lost her battle against cancer last November.

The event was organised by school administration officer Ann Oughton.
